Work as part of the API Gateway group to provide software engineering functions to the MI CIQ Solutions Dashboard suite Work closely with product owners and technology partners to understand existing systems and support them Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues within the defined SLA Work with client application developers to build, deploy and run both monolithic and microservices based applications on AWS Cloud Analyze workload requirements and work with IT stakeholders to define proper sizing for cloud workloads on AWS What we’re looking for

Basic Qualifications

1–2 years of hands-on experience in Java 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Terraform 1–2 years of strong experience in AWS Cloud 1–2 years of experience with Apigee Edge and the latest versions like Apigee X is preferred Apigee Edge

Apigee Edge platform experience with AWS Understanding of Apigee components and infrastructure deployment models Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementation, integration, and deployments Hands-on development in Apigee Platform with policy implementations such as Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security using OAuth Writing OpenAPI specifications and knowledge of Swagger-UI and onboarding APIs to developer portal Experience with a backend scripting language (Java, Node, Python) Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, & Node.js Experience creating, publishing, and managing API proxies and policies Experience managing KVM, flow hooks Terraform

Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code Experience in migrating Code Pipelines to Terraform Experience with agile workflow tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira) AWS Certified Engineer with HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate are preferred Terraform for IAC deployment with Terraform modules for reusing Terraform configurations, building and deploying containerized applications AWS Cloud

Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, ELB, ALB and VPC AWS Solution Architect Associate Certified preferred Experience with orchestration engines like container management platforms Experience building, deploying, and managing production workloads including applications on EC2 instances, APIs on Lambda Functions and more Other add-on Skillsets

Experience with a variety of open‑source databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Cassandra, etc.) Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTPS/TLS/WebSockets, Multicast and Broadcast messaging Experience with scalable networking technologies, including Linux, software‑defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, app acceleration, load balancers, DNS, VPNs and their application in PaaS and IaaS Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and networking or cloud systems Experience in performance tuning OS (Linux & Windows) and JVM/.NET Core VM Experience in designing service APIs using API Gateways, creating, developing and integrating infrastructure, OpenShift, Service Mesh Experience with DevOps engineering or SRE Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk Experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies Preferred Qualifications
