This role is responsible in Identifying, assessing, regularly monitoring, and reviewing the Town council's key risks, including financial, operational, compliance and information technological risks. Developing audit programs and reviewing systems of internal controls. Performing audit tests to determine compliance with prevailing policies, IT security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identifying criticalissues/non-conformancein processes and internal controls.Job Description
About the Role:
Ensure timely implementation of remediation in collaboration with relevant departments and teams.
Prepare and tabulate audit findings and feedback to immediate supervisor.
Conducting relevant training and communication reflecting relevant compliance risks.
Managing the data privacy regulation and be the Data Protection Officer.
Presenting to Audit Committee a review on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal audit function at least annually.
About You:
Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
Minimum 2 years working experience preferred.
A problem solver with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
High degree of integrity and personal responsibility.
Positive, people oriented and keen to learn.
