The Global Product division is the innovation and new product development hub of the business. The Commercial team's role is to be a trusted commercial business partner to the division. We provide reliable, relevant and actionable financial and non-financial information and insight so Global Product can deliver on the promise of helping customers master every month in their kitchens.The role reports to the Head of Commercial Operations. It is accountable for creating and maintaining management reporting to leadership team, auditor engagement on behalf of our business vertical, and supporting execution of actuals, budgeting and reforecasting cadence. The incumbent will have exposure to the latest business intelligence techniques, and corporate finance work which can lead to a multitude of internal opportunities in the future.Role and responsibility: The role will be the point person for business as regular management reporting, and planning budgeting and forecasting cycle for the Global Product and Corporate Finance. They will work closely with the Head of Commercial Operations to create a planning and reporting calendar, and the form and visuals for the management reporting package. Afterwards, the focus will shift to maintaining the quality, accuracy and successful delivery of the reporting packages to senior leadership, and the financial models underpinning them.Financial Reporting and Commentary:Creation, maintenance and execution of a reporting cadence for Global ProductMonthly reporting data collation + data alignmentCoordinating information requests from, and to the corporate finance function at BrevilleLead for internal reconciliation with corporate finance, and being the internal expert on project accountingReconciliation, processing of month end data, and alignment with corporate finance, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash teamsMonth end deck creation, and initial commentaryFinancial Master data accountability and maintenanceMonth end, mid-year, and year end budgeting, forecasting support and coordinationAudit support and document preparationUp keep and maintenance of the monthly, quarterly, half year and yearly checklists, work routines to generate financial and management reportsSupporting the Head of Commercial Operations and leadership for ad hoc projects, analysis and information requests.Education:You will ideally be CA / CPA / ACCA/ CIMA qualified or working towards your CA. We are interested in candidates whose fundamental financial concepts are strong, are lifelong learners, and can demonstrate their financial knowledge and expertise in practical terms.Experience, exposure and skills:Experience:Experience 3-6 yearsWe prefer experience with a chartered accounting firm, ideally in a big four organization (EY, Deloitte, PWC, or KPMG). We are also open to candidates with financial planning and reporting experience in a large organization (preferably multi-national)Experience managing capital projects, capitalization and amortisation principlesProven ability to create and deliver timely and accurate financial reportingDemonstrated collaborative skills (exposure to a matrix structure)We value accomplishment.
