ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesYou will be reponsible for:supervision of pharmacy staff and enable them to render safe, efficient, quality, patient centred services
proactively develop and lead execution of RCA for reported errors and prevention strategies based on standards
designs, implements, review and manage safe and effective medication-use system
review workload statistics and volume reports and strategies plans to sustain smooth operations
liaise with patient care teams and develop collaborative approaches to further compliance with MsMU standards
supervise annual High Impact processes; initiate and lead quality improvement projects. Present and publish through the relevant platform
maintain areas as per ISO and JCIA standards and keep the staff abreast of the standards
inventory management on FIFO basis, review reorder point, reorder quantity and expiries
regular review of critical, Perpetual and expiry list
inspection report of assigned Floor stock locations
reviews CPOE system closely and works with IT coordinator for system improvement
physical presence in assigned areas is ensured; to ensure practises according to standards
ensure efficient formulary management of related drugs
participate in in-house training sessions as trainers e.g. for other staff and intern pharmacists
develop/train staff for services in specialized area e.g. paediatrics, critical care, Medicine
schedule staff to provide uninterrupted operational and clinical services in assigned area(s)
maintain excellent rapport with all members of administrative and clinical team and identify areas of improvement in medication management system
exhibit absolute usefulness of pharmacist presence in wards for patient centred care
engage in staff development and staff training to develop practice aspects, service excellence (SE), clinical expertise and patient safety standards.RequirementsRequirementsYou should have/be:pharm-D/ B-Pharm, preference will be given to a holder of Master Degree in pharmacy
MBA in health management will be considered an added advantage
registered with pharmacy council Pakistan RELEVANT EXPERIENCE (State nature and duration of work experience)
progressive 5-7 years of hospital pharmacy experience focused on pharmacy services
4 -5 years of experience should be at a supervisory or assistant manager level
established competency in drug therapy and medication management systems
customer focused approach and demonstrable compliance with CARR values and standards
good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
must have capabilities to motivate team members
must have the flexibility, competency and ability to provide staff supervision at variable work hours and shifts
good analytical skills
ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking
sound knowledge of computer systems especially inventory management and CPOE
